How does an On-line program work?
-
This course is composed of 31 sessions. Each unit has a quiz in which the student must pass with a score of 80% or more. Each session has a matching exercise that requires the student to match all of the vocabulary words successfully.
-
The session quizzes are designed with learning objectives in mind, so as the student goes through the session, the student knows what the objectives are.
-
The quizzes are the most important part of this course, because as the student works through these modules it demonstrates mastery of the course.
-
This course is designed around the student learning the material to pass the end-of-course exam and the important Alabama State Exam.
-
A student must pass each session before moving on the next one. The Orientation session must be viewed and the Orientation quiz passed before Session One will be active.
-
Each session has a time requirement which is the approximate time to review the video for the session. The course has a total time requirement of 3,000 minutes. The minutes will be recorded as long as the student’s course page is active. The time the student is viewing the videos from their student page, completing the quizzes, doing the matching exercises and viewing the text links are all counted towards the time on the course. Of course, we encourage the student to refer to the textbooks provided and that time will count as long as the “Student Page” is active.
-
When the student registers for the course, the student is asked some personal questions. Twice during the course the student must answer two of the bio data questions asked upon registration. The question must be answered correctly before being able to continue with the course.
-
The student must complete have completed all the exercises, spend the required time on the course and completed the agreement and the evaluation before the course portion of the course has been completed.
-
The final end-of-course exam is a proctored exam with 100 multiple choice questions and the student needs to score a 70% on the exam.
